The founder

Missy Ross

Missy has spent 20+ years in internal audit across manufacturing and financial services -- including some of the largest institutions in the country.

Her job was understanding how things actually functioned inside complex organizations: where processes held, where they quietly broke down, and where the gap between how something was designed and how it was actually operating created problems no one had formally identified.

“Audit is walking into an operation and figuring out what’s really happening. That’s the same thing I do now -- I just build the fix instead of writing the report.”

That discipline is what she brings to every engagement. Before anything gets built, she understands the operation.

Vero Dawn exists because Missy saw what AI could do for the businesses that need it most -- the ones where the owner is still the answer to every question, the backup for every process, and the bottleneck in their own operation. She took the discipline she built inside large institutions and started building the systems that change that.

Why this matters

The audit-first approach

Most AI companies start with their product and try to fit your business into it. We start with your operation and build the right solution around it. That difference changes everything.

01

We see what others skip

Most consultants listen to what you tell them. We look at how things actually function -- the gaps between intention and execution that create real problems.

02

Audit-grade discipline

Every engagement starts with the same rigor Missy applied to billion-dollar institutions. Understand first. Diagnose second. Build third.

03

Systems, not suggestions

You don't get a report or a recommendation. You get working systems built around how your business actually operates.

The connection

From big institutions to small businesses

The problems are the same at every scale. Processes that depend on one person. Knowledge that lives in someone’s head instead of a system. Workarounds that become the actual workflow.

The difference is that small businesses feel those problems more acutely. When you’re the owner, operator, and answer to every question, a broken process doesn’t just create risk -- it creates burnout.

AI gives small businesses the same operational leverage that used to require large teams and big budgets. But only if it’s built around how your business actually works.
